About

Small
Town Girl

I was raised in Kingsford, Michigan, a small town in the smaller part of Michigan. My favorite food groups included pasties and frozen custard and you could always find me on the tennis court.

University of Michigan Graduate

I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2015 with a bachelor's in Informatics - Social Computing. I've never missed a football game since I've been in Ann Arbor.

UI/UX
Designer

I can't get enough of helping people make the most out of their product. Whether it be wireframing, user testing, or even workflow analysis, I can't wait to dive into my next project.

Process

Planning

First thing's first. My pen and paper get worn and the trash bin full.

Wireframing

Wireframing is simply another version of the rough draft, but digital.

Testing

Working the wireframe or website until it breaks! (Hopefully it doesn't.)

Repeat

We're not even close to being done...

Pole Barn Quote Tool

I transformed this client's online quote tool from a long form to a tabbed layout. The improvement was created to aim user focus toward adding only features they want, while skimming over those they do not. Users will also be able to save, open, and edit their quote and each detail will be sent to the client for inbound marketing purposes.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Tool

Working directly with a business owner, I am creating an ERP tool to cover all of a business's needs. This tool has a broad range of features including time tracking, project management, password management, a support-like ticket system, file uploading capabilities, and much more.

Multiple Website Prototypes

For my current job, I create prototypes of websites of all types.
We receive a wide variety of clients, from dentists to engineers - and everything in between.
I work to provide the best layout for each client, keeping their goals as a high priority.

Wolverine Access User Experience Testing

This is a class project in which we ran usability testing on Wolverine Access, a University of Michigan online gateway. We used techniques including interviewing and card sorting, while creating a task list for our testers.
